Jan Daube is an award-winning filmmaker with a Masters degree from the London Film School, where he specialized in Cinematography. He has been the director of photography and camera operator on several films in the UK and abroad, of which most are making the festival circuit. He has experience with many film formats, including S16, 35mm, RED and HD and has worked in all jobs in the camera department. He has lit studios and locations in New York, as well as London and Germany. He also has specialist skills in various other departments from directing to editing and visual effects. He has worked as a VFX supervisor and compositor on several films.

Prior to his MA, he finished his Bachelor in Music and Visual Art at the University of Brighton, where he developed his skills in composing and sound engineering, as well as illlustration, motion graphics and photography.

Through his experiences, he has learned to communicate well with those in other departments and clients. Jan's diverse influences flow into his passion for filmmaking and creates a unique style in visual storytelling.
